Luggage for Bruce Tao
The Free Lock was designed thinking primarily on the traveler's experience. Its handle is a freely rotating lock. It can be unlocked by a coded lock and secured to an area. Such as seat or handrail. So users can rest without worry about the theft while waiting for the plane. Users can also lock it and feel free to go to the toilet. It uses ABC+PC material and corners to protect against travel wounds. It has 50mm wide whisper-quiet wheels that allow you to glide through the airport.

Unique Properties
This is a luggage that can be locked somewhere. The unique about this design is that its handle is a lock. When users want to take a break, they can open the handle to lock luggage in the nearly seat. This allows the user to sleep in peace. When users want to go to the toilet, they can lock the luggage to the railing. This allows the user to enter the toilet without carrying luggage. Free Lock can solve the problem of safety and convenience for travelers to place luggage.

Production Technology
Mainly using ABC+PC material, impact resistance, high hardness, strong toughness, cheap price. The four corners are covered with aluminum metal for protection.
Design Challenge
This is an innovative design with a complex internal structure, and the machining qualification rate is the biggest challenge encountered by this project.
Project Duration
The project started in April 2019 in Anhui and finished in May 2019 in that place, and was exhibited in Shantou in June 2019.
Operation Flow
First of all, find a fixed area such as a common area or a railing. Then the user opens the handle of Free Lock through the coded lock . Turn the handle of the luggage 90° and lock it. After that users can rest assured to go to the toilet or concentrate on rest.
Research
According to the survey, most airports and stations have toilets the size of which cannot accommodate a large luggage. Carrying a luggage into the toilet is inconvenient. According to statistics, most people choose to enter the airport lounge half an hour to an hour in advance, during this period of time people should be careful about the problem of lost luggage.
Inspiration
The experience in lounge inspired me to come up with the project. My job requires travel. When I wait for train or plane, I must watch my luggage even I want to rest. In addition, I have to take my luggage into the toilet. This made my trip difficult. I was inspired by the lock and wanted to design a luggage that could be safely locked in a fixed area.
