It represents the professional and quality products and services of Dongbao Optical, and the principles, wisdom and standards for Dongbao Optical to conduct its behavior and operate its business during past 35 years.

Production Technology
The whole work is made of cardboard and adopts the shotbox structure. There are four small boxes inside which are attached to four walls by magnetic fasteners. The middle bucket box is for the base and the calendar. In addition, there are the drawers and the slots for coupons. They are all handmade.
Design Challenge
In terms of concept, we integrate the development story of Dongbao Optical brand and put forward the new concept exclusive to Dongbao people, and creatively use text to plan, write and lead the visual design as a whole. In terms of craft, the holistic packaging structure has been made by manual bonding, which is extremely difficult and challenging during production.
Project Duration
Started in October 2019 and completed in November, all completed in Dongguan, China
Operation Flow
The box is in the outer package of laser. After taking the box out, one can open the blue cover with logo and then open the four sides separately. Each side has a pair of glasses for the corresponding scene, manuals printed with some stories and peripheral gifts. Middle bucket contains the brand coupons, the brand story calendar and the base to support the calendar.
Research
The anniversary gift boxes for other brands on the market are just a change of form with no humanistic story embedded. However, we have designed and produced our products based on brand stories and humanistic interactions, and enabled customers to feel this considerate brand. The production has also adopted a complex structure which has never been seen before, so it is purely handmade by manual master.
Inspiration
The old brand Dongbao Optical has launched a gift box to celebrate its 35th anniversary. The [Eye Brightening Nutrition Package] is inspired by the enterprise culture, management mode and development story of Dongbao Optical, and spreads the idea of “bright eyes for beautiful views” through the refinement and combination of working, sporting, entertaining and traveling scenes. The readable, visible, usable and playable features are achieved by content planning, text writing and scene guidance.
