The cartoon is painted by the vector graphic design software Adobe Illustrator. Bessel tools are widely used to depict the elegant and light feeling of the characters' clothing and the essence of the line drawing art of the Yongle Palace mural. The cartoon is printed in four colors for the promotion of graphic design.
The line drawing technology of this kind of cartoon painting is not easy, so it is necessary to summarize and sort out the frescoes of Yongle Palace, and grasp the characters' expression and the charm of the line drawing. In particular, to draw traditional mural characters in the form of modern cartoon, we need to transform time and space, which needs to be challenged.
The project started from March 2019 and finished in September 2019 in Shenyang.
