Cheongsam is the traditional clothing of Chinese women and is known as the quintessence of China and the national dress of women. This time the design is based on scented tea, and the flower material is used on the cheongsam to complement the cheongsam, highlighting the feminine beauty. The use of cheongsam elements in the packaging of scented tea is conducive to the development of traditional Chinese culture. In the design process, through the design of fonts and layouts, the connotation of flower tea can be fully released.

Unique Properties
Cheongsam and scented tea are basically exclusive to women in China. This packaging design uses a beautiful woman wearing a cheongsam as the outer packaging of the scented tea, and uses synesthesia to give users an elegant, quiet and beautiful association with scented tea.

Production Technology
The hand-painted pattern is made into the cover of the aluminum can packaging by gravure printing. The performance of the protective layer and the adhesive layer also have physical and chemical indicators, so that the aluminum foil that protects the tea has good barrier properties, hygienic safety, heat sealability and good physical and mechanical properties.
Design Challenge
There are many women-related products. How to choose an element that is more appropriate than the scented tea as the packaging pattern is the most challenging part of the whole design. After many selections, we finally chose cheongsam. The function of cheongsam to show the unique beauty of women echoes the beauty of scented tea. Through adjustment and combination, we have integrated floral patterns on the fabric of the cheongsam, as an embellishment of the cheongsam, blending with the main body, conveying the femininity of women, and reflecting the sweetness and softness of scented tea.
Project Duration
The project started in September 2020 in Kunming and finished in March 2021 in Kunming
Operation Flow
The package is composed of two parts: a box cover and a box body. This structure is convenient to open and easy to take out and display the tea can. The inner packaging is packaged in a small can, and the aluminum foil material can effectively prevent the scented tea from getting damp. The meticulous illustration pattern highlights the fine quality of the small box packaging. Three different flavors of scented tea can be randomly combined according to the needs of users to meet the diverse needs of consumers.
Research
This design is inspired by the unique Chinese costumes-cheongsam, cheongsam and flowers all have intuitive associations with women. The content of this package is scented tea, so the combination of cheongsam and flowers is used to highlight the feminine beauty, and the picture is soft and unified. Nowadays, Chinese retro style is more popular, and these elements are deeply loved by some young people. Cheongsam is one of the traditional Chinese quintessence. While promoting flower tea, it also serves as a publicity and protection for traditional culture. Let more young people understand the excellent Chinese traditional culture.
Inspiration
The packaging uses beauties wearing cheongsam as the main element, so that the target group of scented tea has a clear understanding. The color of the packaging is stable and classic, harmonious and unified with the taste of the target user.
