This is a series of posters highlighting the importance of maintaining peace. It is a creation that does not point a finger at any race, religion, country, or person. Peace Hunter, Peace Poster, Unity and Peace, Discord, Do not lose peace,
The design has been done by combining Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop softwares and photos.
Design, which I present as competition conditions, had to focus on the universal aspects and timelessness of design advertising. Building a design that can propagandize against not just one war, but any war. Making it a universal design. Spread the word, focus on the truth; No pointing finger at who caused the horror, the pain. The challenge faced in the design was not to display weapons and designs that hurt others. Found in peace posters including peace doves, peace, and olives. Or there are posters that abound with visual images mixed with guns, and ammunition used to destroy the peace. My main concern in creating this post was to try to push the idea a little beyond the common notions.
This project is valid for the long term and it doesn't need an exact time period, season, or geometric location to launch.
An attempt was made to keep the reader's curiosity by using a different image and color blending and text manipulation than the peace posters that are often seen. They don't realize that this is a poster related to peace at all, and they expected to be motivated by self-communication based on the relationship between image and text.
Sri Lanka, where I live, is a country that got its independence after thirty years of war. I have experience there too. Through that, arms trade, drug trade, organ trade, etc. mafias operated. But the pro-war parties are carrying out activities that increase the disputes by destabilizing the states and creating war situations by creating borders, tribal boundaries, and religious disputes. It is still happening somewhere in this world even today.
Parasitic factions dependent on war are entrenched in today’s world. If there is no war atmosphere, they are used to creating such a situation and living with it. Common people are not aware of the truth here. Sri Lanka, where I live, is a state that got its independence after thirty years of war. I have experience there too. It is a tragic situation where certain parties are encouraged to maintain a war. In order to maintain peace, society must be aware of the events that disturb peace.
