Unique Properties

Smart Garden represents a collaborative endeavor with the local NGO, SCLT (Southside Community Land Trust), based in Rhode Island, USA. This innovative service product is strategically designed to revitalize the organization's offerings by harnessing the power of cutting-edge mobile technology. It addresses a spectrum of challenges, such as low engagement among community residents, financial limitations, and a struggle to retain users. The overarching objective is to empower the organization to operate in a more sustainable and efficient manner, ensuring its lasting impact in the community. The operational framework derived from this service design is intricately woven into the mobile application, spanning various facets including private claims, task management platforms, holiday coordination, and shopping resources. These components synergistically bolster one another, culminating in the creation of a community garden product tailor-made to cater to the specific needs of the community. Moreover, the strategy goes beyond just enhancing services; it aims to elevate user participation and foster greater user loyalty. By cultivating a sense of engagement and attachment among users, the organization can look forward to sustainable support, both in terms of users' active involvement and financial backing. Inspiration

This is a community service app commissioned by the NGO organization SCLT. My goal with this platform is to better connect community gardens with community users, fostering a new and unique network of relationships. Additionally, it aims to ensure the sustainable operation of these community gardens by providing users with engaging services.

Project Overview

Smart Garden Mobile Application has been a Iron winner in the Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution. Recipients of the Iron A' Design Award are acknowledged for their practical innovations and contributions to their respective fields, providing solutions that improve quality of life and foster positive change. These designs are a testament to the skill and dedication of their creators, showcasing their ability to address real-world challenges through thoughtful design.
