Unique Properties

It is a set of illustrations about the culture of Northeast China. Production Technology

The series of illustrations and expressions are drawn by the illustrator vector design software. It is produced by high level printing and manufacturing technologies to show the details of beautiful and exquisite illustrations.

Design Challenge

The difficulty lies in the creative graphic expression of culture, the combination of modern aesthetics and traditional culture, the accurate grasp of the characteristics of gorgeous illustrations, and the retention of traditional charm while keeping up with the aesthetic pace of The Times.

Project Duration

This is a set of illustrations about the culture of Northeast China. Through illustrations, the creative elements of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning provinces are conceived, scene atmosphere is created, color levels are matched, and modern media are used to show the unique natural relics and cultural cuisine of Northeast China, so as to spread the culture and natural culture of Northeast China in a way that fits modern aesthetics. It endows Northeast story culture with new era connotation.

Operation Flow

It can spread the characteristic culture of Northeast region in a way that conforms to modern people's aesthetic, and cause people to think deeply.

Research

The northeast region has witnessed China's history and is known as the "eldest son of the motherland", but today the development of the Northeast region is not as good as before. This design shows the cultural tourism style and the innovation and development of the city in Northeast China from the aspects of architecture and humanity. It is hoped that it can promote cultural inheritance and innovation, improve the effect of tourism promotion, and bring new opportunities and possibilities for the development of cultural tourism in the three Eastern provinces.

Inspiration

Through illustration design and cultural derivative design on the theme of the three provinces in Northeast China, the visual presentation mode of regional culture with localized illustration characteristics is explored, the outstanding people in Northeast China are expressed through illustration language and media, the regional culture is endowed with new era connotation and modern expression form, and people's love and protection awareness of regional culture is aroused.

Project Overview

Northeast Custom Detailed Illustration has been a Iron winner in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
